These custom signs are mocked up, sketched and painted by hand with acrylic paint on heavy-duty, 300 lb watercolor paper giving each print a rich, one-of-a-kind texture (aka: AI could never).

When checking out, you will be prompted to enter your rules. You have 48 hours to make any changes, after which they are considered locked. If you have any further questions, contact wordstaycollective@gmail.com

  • Note!! The muted colorblock has only been drawn up with 5 rules instead of 6. If you have six rules, it will also include the forest green included in the title.

Process:

• House Rules are required upon purchase and locked in 48 hours after receiving my initial email ("finalized" meaning your final list - we may go back and forth ensuring things fit well).

• Check out my word requirements to help you ensure there are no delays or issues with your words.

• If rules are missing and I do not hear from you, your order will be canceled before my next drop.

Shipping & Turnaround time:

• Your portrait will be made and ready to ship within 2-3 weeks of receiving your rules. If I do not receive your rules promptly, it may take longer.

Please Note:

• Every print is different. I do not send mock ups or previews (unless previously discussed for specific color combinations) as I find the final prints usually read differently than initial reactions to photos. I do my best to ensure every print harkens back to the original rules you see in my photos, but with a unique spin for your own family.
• I also provide word count limits and suggestions throughout the process, noting if I feel the text might be better served with changes. Ultimately, if you choose more words, they might feel tightly spaced.
• I try to avoid hyphenating words as often as I can.

• Due to the handmade and custom nature of your print, returns are not accepted
